A Grand Piano Move

A Grand Piano Move

After countless deliberations  the decision was made to sell our baby grand as part of the 5050 Travelog plan. I have had several pianos and keyboards over the years but none as nice as this. It is a Mason & Risch 5.5" baby grand from 1934. Many wonderful hours have been spent around this piano with family and friends and it was sheer heartbreak to see it go. As you see from the photo above it involved blood, sweat and I am not ashamed to say tears. The new owner, Peter from Blind Bay, is the nicest guy you could meet. He is a true piano player, composer and writes musical theatre. To hear him play the piano sent a reassuring feeling through me. Peter has already invited us to Blind Bay to see and hear the piano in its new home.
