Cahors

We said our goodbyes this morning to Patrick, Marie, Alina and Christine in Bourlogne Sur Gesse and are headed north towards Paris where we pick up Emma next week :)

The Easter weekend was a wonderful wrap up to our stay at La Hilletta. We took turns cooking and the whole weekend was a feast with fantastic food, wine and good company. We were joking that we had to leave now in order not to explode from over indulging!

This spot along the Lot River looked like a suitable place for a quick nap. We are in wine country now and certain stretches remind us of the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada.

Arriving late afternoon to Cahors. No shortage of narrow alleyways here.

While we were waiting for our Airbnb host to show up this gentleman walked by sporting a jacket, scarf and hat. It was at least 25 degrees and sunny. The Airbnb host never showed up to the address she had listed. We ended up in a dorm room near the hospital. Poor communication from the young renter. The room ended up being okay but we wasted precious light and time finding it!

We grabbed a sandwich and salad for dinner and enjoyed it at the Gambetta Square as the sun was setting.
