Toulouse sous la pluie

Patrick drove us to the 6:45 am bus. Two and a half hours later we rolled into Toulouse where we are spending a couple of days. The weather forecast called for 100% rain which allowed ample time for coffee and lunch at a pair of great cafés. We did get a good feel for the city and imagine it would be superb on a nice summer day. We checked out the Place du Capitole and went inside the Capitole for a self guided tour. At the Brasilique Saint-Sernin someone started practising on the organ and it scared the living daylights out of us as we were the only visitors in the church. Looking for bathroom facilities we walked through the university area and resorted to a mobile toilet. State of the art self cleaning unit. We did not however download the app guiding us to all the mobile units in Toulouse. The sun came out just as we reached the waterfront by Pont Neuf. A welcome feeling of warmth.
