This photo was captured a few days ago, but represents the scene in Vancouver well these days. Yesterday, on December 15th, a 63-year-old record was broken as temperatures reached 15.7 degrees Celsius (60 degrees Fahrenheit).

The warmer temperatures, unfortunately, have also been followed by seemingly endless rainy days, with an atmospheric river causing widespread flooding and a risk of landslides in the Lower Mainland.

Between the showers, we experience these surreal moments if the sun is out for a moment, where it feels like a September day.
