Today, I rode my bike and brought the camera and two lenses, but I didn’t capture a single frame. The light was harsh mid-afternoon, and I was biking through familiar areas, so I didn’t feel inspired. Instead, I gave my heart some much-needed cardio, and the crisp winter air gave me a nice boost.

The “photo of the day” was captured downtown last week, and it got me thinking. I have been trying to limit the time I spend on my phone lately, especially on social media. But I haven’t completely shut it off. Perhaps it’s time.
