It was nice to catch up with my buddy, Chris, during a photo walk/talk along Commercial Drive yesterday. We still have a haze with some smoke in the air from the forest fires in the region. I met Chris a couple of years ago when I sold him my Voigtländer Ultron 40mm f/2 SL IIs, and some days I still regret this—not meeting Chris, but selling my lens :)

Luckily, Chris was open to the idea of letting me borrow my old lens for a while, as I am curious to see how it plays with my Leica. As a bonus, he also brought a Voigtländer Nokton 58mm f/1.4, so you can look forward to shots taken with these two lenses in the following days.
