Changing My Vantage Point at Granville Bridge in Vancouver

I found myself unexpectedly walking across Granville Bridge a few days ago and instantly loved how the height of the Bridge gave me a new vantage point and a refreshing new look at things from above.

I could almost spy on the folks in the apartment building near Granville Island. The yellow VW bug in contrast to Bjarke Ingels’ Vancouver House I thought was interesting as well, as were the Aqua busses beneath the bridge. There was so much going on in a short span of time.

A lone worker was cleaning the yard at the cement plant on a hot summer afternoon. A guy on foot was headed south on the Seymour Street ramps as students were hard at work at the Vancouver House Campus.

I love how by simply changing our usual route from Di’s office we got to see the city from a new angle and I came home with a few shots that I was happy with.
