2021 Travel Summary
In a year where we haven’t done any international travel, it is encouraging that readers still find our travel articles. Perhaps there are many out there, like us, still dreaming about travel and planning ahead.
So how do we even run a travel blog when travel has become so challenging? For one, we have done several day trips/staycations in British Columbia and are also catching up on posts from the last leg of our 5050 travel project. Stay tuned for more articles coming up in 2022 from New Zealand.

I have decided to hop on the “best of the year” bandwagon and will list our most popular travel articles of 2021.
So without further ado…
I am happy to see a few of our staycation/day trips on the list as this has become a reality of travel for us for the time being.
We are certainly getting the itch to travel again and the first international trip was already booked and unfortunately also canceled again due to unforeseen circumstances. My friend Kim, and I, had planned a ski trip to Sun Valley, Idaho in early January but we have had to delay.
In the meantime, the Camera and Lens Review section of our site has been very active in 2021 and I already have several articles in the works for early 2022.
We made our first-ever trip to the Sunshine Coast of BC in 2021 and are quite confident that we will return before too long.
To all fellow travelers out there and readers of our site we wish you a happy 2022 and cross our fingers that travel will become easier before too long.
