Snippets From Our France and Italy Trip
Paris is one of my favorite places for street photography with its blend of historic buildings, architecture, and people milling about unfazed by yet another photographer trying to capture it all.
Before our three-week-long trip to Italy and France, I worried that bringing only manual focus lenses would somehow be limiting. Still, I am pleased with the results and thoroughly enjoyed the simple setup with my Leica SL2-S, Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.2 and Voigtänder Nokton 28mm f/1.5 lenses (link goes to my reviews).
As I type this more than a year later, this combination of cameras and two lenses remains my favorite setup in a long time.
Here is a selection of photos captured over four days in Paris, late June 2024.
