Three Trips to Vernon

Beautiful Vernon
2026 has been a rough year for us, as we lost our dear friend Philippe, whom we have known for more than forty years. Philippe passed away in early September after a battle with cancer.
In February, Dagny, Philippe, Diana, and I stayed together at a house on Silver Star Mountain for a few days, the place we met in 1986 and have since made many memories.
In September/October, we went to Vernon twice: once when Philippe passed, and again for Dagny’s 65th birthday.
As we have done many times before, we spent time outside in nature, waking/hiking the many beautiful trails around Vernon. Dagny showed us a few new spots we had not hiked before.
